About the OBIRI

Earth is home to...

  • 300+ species of roses

  • 7000+ cultivars of apples

  • 600+ different species of mint plants

Yet the majority of us have only seen the common Virginia rose. The average individual may only be aware of ten or less apple varieties, such as Fuji or Granny Smith apples. And most have only encountered Peppermint, Spearmint and perhaps Chocolate Peppermint—yes, it’s a thing and it smells just like its name!

While these numbers represent only three different plant families, Nature is overflowing within such dynamic diversity. And from it, our planet offers a yet unknown number of industrial revolutions, medical breakthroughs, cosmetic innovations, survival staples, construction materials and luxurious treasures, in addition to its sheer beauty and wonder.

The OIEMI Botanical Institute of Research & Innovation™--or simply the OBIRI--was designed to serve as the bridge between curiosity, concerns and the cultivation of continued discoveries. By tapping into our all-inclusive collective of lost and forgotten knowledge, both individuals and organizations alike learn to redefine new sources of sustainable solutions.

This unique collective is divided into four key focuses: continued education, botanical research, ethical innovation and wellness enhancement. Each area works to inspire cognitive ingenuity, celebrate proven methodologies, revive traditional applications and support natural laws.

Our globally-accessible virtual platform is open to all ages, professions, groups and curious lifelong learners--from foragers to medical practitioners or naturalistic moms and everyone in between. Whether you found us as a result of curiosity or seek specific answers, the OBIRI is where conscious humans learn how to Solve Problems with Plants!™
